The Guest acknowledges that attendance at the Event, participation in activities and/or entertainment, use of the Event venue and facilities, and use of transportation arranged for the Event may involve inherent, incidental and unforeseen risks, including limitation, personal injury, illness, accidents, death, loss of or damage to personal belongings, and risks associated with transportation, recreational or other activities. The Guest voluntarily chooses to attend the Event and participate in any activities and/or use any transportation provided or arranged in connection with the Event, and acknowledges that they do so at their own risk. The Guest assumes all risks associated with their attendance at and participation in the Event and agrees that Larry Simon and the Event organisers shall not be liable for any loss, injury, illness, damage or other claim arising from or in connection with the Guest’s attendance, participation or transportation.
The Guest indemnifies and holds harmless Larry Simon and the Event organisers, including their representatives, employees, contractors, service providers and persons acting on their behalf (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”), against any claims, losses, damages, costs or expenses arising from or in connection with the Guest’s attendance at the Event, participation in any activities, or use of transportation arranged in connection with the Event. This indemnity includes claims arising from any act or omission of the Guest, including any negligent, reckless, unlawful or otherwise wrongful conduct by the Guest that causes loss, injury, damage or expense to any person or property. The Guest further agrees to be responsible for any damage to the venue, its facilities, equipment or property caused by the Guest’s intentional, reckless, negligent or unlawful conduct.
The Guest agrees to act responsibly and comply with any reasonable safety instructions given by the Event organisers, activity providers or transport providers during the Event. The Guest agrees not to engage in any conduct that may endanger themselves or any other person or cause damage to the venue, property or equipment. The Event organisers reserve the right to refuse participation in any activity, or to require a Guest to leave the Event, where the organisers reasonably consider the Guest’s conduct to be unsafe, disruptive or unlawful. The Guest acknowledges that they remain responsible for their own personal belongings and valuables and that the Indemnified Parties shall not be responsible for any loss of or damage to such belongings.
Where the Guest is under 18 years of age, the RSVP must be completed by the Guest’s parent or legal guardian, who confirms that they have the legal authority to provide such consent and agrees to the terms of this form on behalf of the minor. The parent or legal guardian acknowledges responsibility for the minor’s supervision and conduct and agrees to ensure that the minor complies with all reasonable instructions issued by the Event organisers, venue personnel and service providers.
In the event of an illness, injury or medical emergency involving the Guest, the Guest authorises the Event organisers to obtain appropriate medical assistance and, where necessary, arrange for the Guest to be transported to a medical facility. Where the Guest is unable to provide consent at the time, the Guest authorises appropriate medical personnel to administer such emergency treatment as deemed necessary. The Guest is responsible for providing accurate and relevant medical information that may reasonably be necessary in the event of an emergency, including any known allergies, medical conditions or medication requirements. The Event organisers shall not be responsible for any medical costs incurred by the Guest, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
The Guest acknowledges that photographs, video recordings and/or audio recordings may be taken during the Event for private, commemorative and/or Event-related purposes. By attending the Event, the Guest consents to being photographed or recorded as part of the Event, subject to any separate arrangements or instructions communicated by the Event organisers. Where the Guest has expressly requested not to be photographed or recorded, the Event organisers will take reasonable steps to accommodate such request, but cannot guarantee that the Guest will not appear incidentally in photographs or recordings of the Event.
By RSVPing to the invitation, the Guest acknowledges that they have read and understood the terms of this form and voluntarily agree to the assumption of risk, indemnity and medical consent provisions contained herein.
